Dr. Roaa Soloh is an Assistant Professor at Rafik Hariri University, College of Arts & Sciences. She received her Ph.D. in Computer Science from Lebanese University, and Mathematics from Le Havre University with a thesis titled "Graphs and Binary Linear Programming for Natural Object Modeling in Computer Vision" in 2022. She gained her Research Master's degree in Computer Science and Risk Management from Lebanese University in 2017, at the same year, she gained the License in Islamic Legislation from Beirut Islamic University. In 2016, she obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Beirut Arab University.
Dr. Soloh served as part-time lecturer in Fall 2018, and Spring 2022 semesters. Starting with the Fall 2022, she became a full-time faculty at Rafik Hariri University. The taught courses covered a wide range of topics, including, but not limited to: Web Programming, Image Processing, Computer Vision, Mobile Development, and Database Management.
Her research interest is on topics related to Computer Vision, Optimization, Graph Theory, and Image processing.
In 2024, Dr. Soloh completed a Training of Trainers (TOT) program in robotics, enhancing her expertise in this emerging field.
