RHU College of Sciences and Information Systems is now a member of the Colleges of Computing and Information Society (CCIS) emanating from the Association of Arab Universities. CCIS is an umbrella to the collective computer science activities of computing colleges in the Arab world providing varied and significant benefits to its members.
“By becoming a member of the CCIS, RHU faculty members and students will benefit from major discounts to attend and participate in regional and international events, workshops and conferences as organized by the Society,” said Dr. Mohamad Ladan, Dean of RHU CSIS. “In addition, members will receive publications by the Society of the latest research activities in the area of ICT and benefit from the CCIS Quality Assurance and Accreditation Program.”
Established in the year 2000, the CCIS is a non-profit organization that includes all Arab Information Technology Colleges in the Arab World. Zarqa University in Jordan has been selected as the permanent residence for its general secretariat.
