Cooperative Education Work Experience (COOP)
The COOP Work Experience program constitutes the first stepping stone from the classroom into the workplace, the link between academia and the business world. In the COOP training, students learn to apply the knowledge and skills they acquired at the university, and get the chance to learn new methods and acquire new skills.
At RHU, the Office of Cooperative Education arranges the COOP experience and performs the necessary follow up until the student begins working at one of our COOP Partner Employers. A faculty member then evaluates the student’s performance in terms of attitude, efficiency, accuracy, learning potential, discipline, cooperation, and more. An evaluation of the COOP experience is performed by the student’s employer, faculty supervisor, and the student him/herself.
