RHU is proud of class 2014 computer and communication engineering alumna Aicha El Assal who has recently completed her PhD in telecommunication engineering with high distinction from the Université de Rennes 1, France – specialty: Absorbent Materials in Anechoic Chambers. She concluded her hybrid dissertation at the Institut Universitaire de Technologie IUT de Saint-Brieuc on March 9, 2021.
“We are very proud of this international collaboration and our young scientist. Congratulations Aicha,” IUT commented and shared the photos of Dr. El Assal on Facebook following her dissertation.
Dr. El Assal has completed her Bachelor (2013) and Master (2014) degrees in computer and communication engineering at RHU. She also completed another master’s degree at the Lebanese University (placed the fourth over fifteen (4/15) in the promotion of 2017) and got the best poster award in the MMA conference in Japan in 2018.
