We at RHU are proud of Class 2019 mechanical engineering alumnus Youssef Chehade who has successfully defended his master’s thesis "Present and Future Status of Power-Based Tariffs" at Uppsala University, Sweden last Thursday.
His thesis, in the field of the renewable energy transition, forecasts how the energy transition in Sweden, which is seen by the increase of electric vehicles in circulation and residential PV system installation, will affect the effectiveness of existing power tariffs, and whether alternatives have to be drafted.
Mr. Chehade was enrolled in a double master’s degree by EIT InnoEnergy, in Energy Technologies. He completed his first year at Instituto Superior Tecnico, Portugal, and his second year at Uppsala University, Sweden.
