RHU alumnus Omar Al Kaaki (class 2012 BS in electrical engineering) was appointed as a research assistant in the energy section of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA). He will be supporting the prestigious REGEND project, Regional Initiative for Promoting Small-Scale Renewable Energy Applications in rural areas of the Arab region”.
Mr. Al Kaaki is continuously accumulating experiences in the energy sector and will cultivate his skills and experiences to push the REGEND project forward.
The REGEND project aims to improve the standard of living in rural areas in the Arab world by installing solar energy applications.
