Dr. Mira M. Alameddine is a part-time lecturer in the College of Arts and Sciences since 2007 and an Associate Professor at the Lebanese University, Faculty of Literature, First Branch.
Dr. Mira M. Alameddine acquired her PhD from the Doctoral School of Literature, Humanities & Social Sciences at the Lebanese University. She also has an MA in TESOL from the Lebanese American University (LAU) and an MA in Western Philosophy from the American University of Hawaii (AUH).
She is an English language, humanities, and exceptional academic Learner academician. Throughout her career, she has worked at the Lebanese University where she also supervises MA research theses, Rafik Hariri University, and USAL. Her publications cover topics on language education, humanities, and exceptional academic needs learners. Currently, she is a committee member developing the English Language curriculum in Lebanon and the Inclusive Policy Committee, headed by the Center for Research, Development, and Progress (CRDP), in collaboration with the Minister of Education and Higher Education.
Dr. Alameddine is also a reviewer for major journals and conferences such as IAFOR, INTED, and Sexuality and Culture and is a senior reviewer of abstracts in The IAFOR International Conference on Education- Barcelona, 2024. Her ORCID ID is: https://orcid.org/0000-0003-1631-3936
