BIOGRAPHY:
Khaled Fawaz earned his Ph.D. in December 2009 in the area of Industrial Systems and Automation. He is an assistant professor at Lebanese University, faculty of technology (FT) Saida, and a part-time lecturer at Rafic Hariri University. He obtained research master’s degree in Automation and Image processing (AG2I) at USTL in 2006. He obtained an engineering master’s degree in Computers and Automation from Polytech’Lille in 2005.
His research topics are related to the diagnosis of Networked Control Systems (NCS) applied to robotics systems. This development was based on the model-based diagnosis approach, and it was validated in real time on various robotics systems.
Another research topic of interest is model-based remote diagnosis using a virtual environment here the diagnosis is deported from physical system and applied to virtual remote models.
His teaching activities are wide-ranging and cover industrial automation, system modeling, robotics, and advanced control systems.
