Milana W. Kasab is a Lecturer in Biomedical Engineering at the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, College of Engineering, Rafik Hariri University (RHU). She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Jean Monnet, France, in collaboration with RHU and MINDIG company in France. She obtained both her Masters in 2021 and BE degree in 2020, in Biomedical Engineering from RHU. She also served as the Lab Engineer for the ECE labs in RHU, between 2022-2024. An active member of IEEE and EMBS, she recently became the advisor of the IEEE Women in Engineering affinity group RHU student chapter. She worked on several research projects under the general title of Machine Learning in healthcare applications, with three published conference papers. Her research interests are mainly in the field of neuroscience, signal processing, data analysis and machine learning.
