The Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering (MME) Department is one of the largest departments at the University that offers two programs – Mechanical Engineering (MECH) and Mechatronics Engineering (MECA). Each program grants three degrees: Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Engineering and Master of Science. These programs are designed to provide a broad spectrum of skills sought after by a wide range of professional fields such as food processing, building and construction, medical and pharmaceutical industries, aerospace, automotive, chemical, oil and gas, computer and electronics, renewable energy, power generation and distribution, water resources, sports, environmental institutions, and more.
