On September 6, at 10:00 am, the RHU President, Dr. Said Ladki, convened a Faculty and Staff Convocation. He thanked them for their commitment to RHU and acknowledged, despite the challenges, their remarkable resilience, loyalty, and determination to make RHU better. He encouraged everyone to keep working together to build a brighter future, emphasizing that the difficult days are behind them.
RHU is immensely proud to share that 64 of its alumni have successfully earned their PhDs. These distinguished graduates have gone on to become faculty members and researchers at some of the world’s most prestigious universities and institutions, including those in Canada, the USA, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Saudi Arabia, Switzerland, Belgium, and Finland.

The RHU Office of the President brought an exciting opportunity to the forefront by hosting Dr. Elie Badr, the VP for Business Development and Global Affairs at the Lebanese American University, for an insightful virtual talk on November 1. Dr. Badr, a seasoned expert in the New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE) accreditation process, inspired our RHU steering committee with his wealth of knowledge and engaging expertise.
On October 31, the RHU Office of the President hosted Dr. Manal Yunis for the Nazek Rafik Hariri Distinguished Lecture series. Dr. Yunis, Chairperson and Associate Professor at the Lebanese American University, delivered an online lecture titled "The Future is Here: Why AI and Data Analytics Matter."
The College of Arts and Sciences – Design Department is thrilled to announce that RHU graphic design student, Ms. Rayyan Kaddoura, has been honored with the 2024 Pan Arab Award for her outstanding visual solution for Patchi chocolate boxes. Her design, which beautifully embodies Lebanon’s culture and heritage, has been recognized as the visual package design of the year from all Arab countries in the MENA Region.
The RHU Robotics and Technology Club (RTC) in the College of Engineering excelled at the World Robot Olympiad (WRO) held in Plateau Jounieh over the weekend. Competing against more than 500 participants, our talented sophomore engineering students demonstrated exceptional skills, earning top positions in four categories at the competition.
