The IEEE RHU Student Branch in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering organized a seminar about the future of surgical innovation with an emphasis on the ARMS project, Automated Robotic Mechanism for Surgery. The seminar was held on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the RHU main theater.
Omar El Sayed, a senior mechatronics engineering student at RHU, led the discussion and provided attendees with the latest advancements in this field. He explained the concept of Industry 4.0, the reasons behind developing ARMS, its features, the prototype, and the commentary.
