On Saturday, April 27, 2024, the ASCE RHU Student Chapter in the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department participated in a community service event to plant trees in Beirut. The ASCE Lebanon Section organized the event in collaboration with several other organizations, including SWIM, Dar Al-Handasa, Beirut Municipality, and the Lebanon Reforestation Initiative.
During the event, ASCE RHU members assisted in planting over 200 trees at Horsh Beirut. They also planted a Pine Tree that was designated for the ASCE RHU student Chapter in the presence of the Board Members of the ASCE Lebanon Section and the president of the Order of Engineers, Mr. Paul Naccouzzi.
