Eight accounting students nominated by CBA faculty members were approved to receive the CMA Scholarship. The Institute of Management Accountants instituted the CMA Scholarship to honor top students. Certificates were distributed to the winners during a special event by the College of Business Administration on September 19. Moreover, during the event, certificates of completion were distributed to the CMA candidates that attended the CMA preparatory course given by CBA this summer.
The Acting Dean of RHU College of Business Administration, Dr. Jamil Hammoud, addressed the CMA candidates and spoke about the importance of professional certificates in this competitive work market. Recipients of the CMA scholarship will receive a package of benefits that enable them to take the CMA exam at no cost.
A small reception followed the distribution of the certificates.
