It can be rather challenging for students to take a step back and write an effective CV that best brands their knowledge and skills. For this reason, RHU Communication and Alumni Relations Office hosted RHU lecturer, Dr. Tarek Nasab, for a seminar on "How Best to Write Your CV," as part of RHU annual Co-op Program activities. The seminar was held on March 15, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in RHU theatre.
Dr. Nasab started his presentation with a teaser: “before reflecting upon your expectations after graduation, ask yourself about your preparations.” While there is no single template to use for preparing a CV, writing an effective CV will depend primarily on the job the student is applying to. He advised students to prepare one CV for each job to be able to identify what makes them uniquely qualified and distinctive from other candidates for each new employer.
