RHU students actively participated in the First Young Professionals Lebanon Congress 2017 (YPLC’17). The event is organized by The IEEE Young Professionals (YP) affinity group, including representatives from RHU, in collaboration with USEK University on the 20th and 21st of May, 2017.
RHU vibes were all over the audience where engineering students from various disciplines actively participated in the seminars, roundtable, and even in the competition organized by NOKIA, where the students Mira Kamand and Ismail Kuraidly won the second prize.
Three RHU instructors participated in this seminar; Dr. Rached Zantout representing the ECE department, Dr. Najib Mozahem, Assistant Professor of Management at RHU (YPLC’17 Speaker), and Dr. Mira Alameddine, former lecturer at RHU Languages and Humanities Department (YPLC’17 Speaker).
The workshop highlighted the right steps the fresh graduates should take at the beginning of their career path. It also focused on guiding the young entrepreneurs through founding their own startup companies with the help of leading ecosystem players in the MENA region, like AltCity and Berytech.
Many significant companies were present in the workshop, namely Alfa, Dar Al Handasah, Murex, and EDM.
