The College of Business Administration was invited to participate in the second “Visualize 2030 Data Camp” organized by the United Nations Development Programme - UNDP and the Arab Development Portal (ADP) in partnership with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), and the Hariri Foundation for Sustainable Human Development.
Around ten selected students from the CBA had the chance to participate in this event and learn more about the major problems facing the youth in the Arab world. The event took place on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 in Beit Beirut, Sodeco.
Youthful teams from the Arab region, who were part of the Data Camp, presented innovative ideas to solve these problems before they grow drastically in 2030. The finalists also discussed their ideas during an on set Shabab Talk show presented by Jaafar AbdelKarim, and it was aired by DW TV.
The winning team was Hekaya from Yemen who dealt with the early marriage and family problem.
