On Thursday, June 27, the WIE IEEE RHU Student Branch Affinity Group in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department (ECE) organized the first Women in Engineering International Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the green area.
The event aimed to recognize and honor women's contributions to engineering. Participants enjoyed engaging activities and delicious food while celebrating and supporting women's achievements.
IEEE Women in Engineering was formally established on June 29, 1997. Since then, WIE has proudly supported an ever-growing community of women in STEM and taken steps to promote change in the industry.
