A large number of RHU students participated in a range of sports organized by the RHU Athletics Department in collaboration with RHU Music Club on the occasion of the International Day of University Sports (IDUS), which is endorsed by the UNESCO in order to promote “physical activity, ethics, fair play, equality and social inclusion,” in university life.
Three main competitions were held, 3 on 3 basketball, billiard, and tablet tennis.
Eight teams participated in the Basketball tournament. The team of Ahmad Hajaj, Ahmad Hejal and Rafik fawaz won the first place.
Out of the 24 students participating in the billiard tournament, the first place went to Bilal Diab and the second to Mohamad Chamsedeen.
In table tennis, Mohamad Farran achieved the first place and Ahmad Massalkhi the second, out of the 21 competing students.
To give an event sweeter taste to the victories, the RHU Music Club distributed sweets and cold juices to the players and audience.
