RHU held its Spring 2025 General Faculty and Staff Meeting on February 21, presided over by RHU President Dr. Said Ladki. The gathering highlighted the university's aspirations and strategic direction. It brought us together to coordinate efforts aimed at enhancing RHU's academic standing and student engagement.



The President opened by recognizing the successful virtual accreditation visit for the Colleges of Engineering and Arts and Sciences. He thanked the RHU community on behalf of the Chairperson of the Board of Trustees, Mrs. Nazek Rafik Al Hariri, and announced a recommendation for ABET accreditation renewal, with a final decision in July. The meeting also highlighted RHU’s evolving curriculum, emphasizing AI, digital proficiencies, and the World Economic Forum's 10 skill sets as key academic advancements.



The President highlighted the need for innovation and adaptability, focusing on curriculum updates, new specializations, student development, increased research visibility, expanded corporate partnerships, a flat organizational structure, and empowered faculty roles.



RHU honored faculty and staff with over 20 years of service, celebrating their pivotal contributions to the university’s legacy. Honorees included Mr. Hisham Kobrosli, Dr. Najwa Fares, Ms. Nidal Khalaf, Mr. Abdulhamid Hosari, Ms. Bassima Katerji, Ms. Nada Atmeh, Ms. Sarwat Bizri, Mr. Zaher Fakhreddine, Mr. Issam Youssef, Mr. Maher Shaar, Ms. Rafal Tabbaa, and Mr. Abdulghani Baba. The President also recognized students Ms. Leen Al Soloh and Mr. Mahmoud Dabboura for their role in designing the new RHU logo and seal.



The President closed with a message of unity, stressing that RHU’s success relies on collective effort. Faculty and staff were urged to embrace new strategies and actively contribute to transforming RHU into a leading entrepreneurial institution. With strong commitment from its faculty and leadership, RHU is set for transformative growth and greater regional visibility.
