RHU is proud to announce that Dr. Nadim Diab, Chair of the Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering Department and associate professor, has recently published a research article titled “Using instantaneous invariants of the curvature theory in motion generation synthesis of 4R mechanisms with higher-order coupler point kinematics” in the esteemed mechanical engineering journal, Mechanism and Machine Theory, published by Elsevier.
This journal is ranked by Google Scholar among the top five mechanical engineering journals, with an h-index of 130, an h5-index of 59, and an Impact Factor of 5.2.
“This research work introduces a novel method for exploiting and leveraging the distinctive characteristics of geometric instantaneous invariants and pole locations in the motion generation synthesis of four-bar mechanisms with prescribed higher-order coupler point kinematics,” explained Dr. Nadim Diab.
