On February 28, 2025, the Language and Liberal Arts Unit at the College of Arts and Sciences organized an engaging training session for participants in the RHU Public Speaking Competition. Five experienced Toastmasters trainers from Lebanon led the three-hour session: Mr. Ezzeddine Danash, Mr. Abdulrahman Hallak, Mr. Hassan Jomaa, Mr. Mohammad Basyouni, and Ms. Zahraa Shaayto. It was designed to equip participants with essential public speaking skills.


The training was tailored to the participants’ respective competition categories, which included both prepared and impromptu speeches. Through hands-on exercises and expert guidance, attendees learned effective strategies for crafting and delivering impactful speeches. The session generated enthusiasm among the participants, many of whom expressed a desire for more time to continue honing their skills.


This event proved to be an invaluable opportunity for aspiring speakers to enhance their public speaking abilities and build confidence in advance of the upcoming competition.
