The Math and Science Unit (MSU) at the College of Arts and Sciences organized a seminar on June 9th, 2024, to expand students' knowledge of applying mathematics in the biomedical field. The seminar focused on the application of numerical and computational methods in the biomedical field, particularly in the context of the lymphatic system, which is of great interest to researchers due to its implications for cancer proliferation.
Ph.D. student Alaa Abou Orm conducted the seminar under the supervision of Dr. Badr Kaoui from Université de Technologie de Compiègne and Dr. Lara Abou Orm from Rafik Hariri University. Participants had the opportunity to explore various mathematical and numerical techniques used in medicine.
