On March 14, 2025, RHU celebrated the holy month of Ramadan by hosting a special Iftar event for over 100 orphans from Dar Al Aytam. Organized by the Student Affairs Office, this event has become a cherished tradition at RHU, uniting the community in the spirit of generosity, giving, and togetherness.

The children were warmly welcomed with a fun-filled program designed to bring joy and create lasting memories. From inflatable games and camel and pony rides to face painting, interactive drama, and a Ramadan-themed show, every moment was designed to ensure the children felt the spirit of the holy month. The children were also captivated by a juggler’s performance, while a lively band filled the campus with music and energy.

To celebrate Ramadan’s deeper meaning, the entertainment program featured an Islamic Chanting group. A variety of delicious sweets were served after Iftar, and each child received thoughtful gifts, goodie bags, and an envelope containing a monetary gift for Eid al-Fitr.

RHU extends heartfelt thanks to all the sponsors, donors, and contributors whose unwavering support made this event a reality. A special thank you also goes to the RHU community for making this event such a success. As Ms. Sahar Hallak, Assistant Director of Student Affairs, beautifully put it, “Together, we’ve created a night full of joy, compassion, and community.”
