The RHU Electrical and Computer Engineering Department recently hosted the LIRA 2025 Roadshow, which introduced RHU engineering students and researchers to the second edition of the LIRA program. This exciting initiative aims to empower young innovators by helping them convert academic research into real-world solutions through mentorship, pitching opportunities, and funding. The Roadshow also provided valuable insights on how RHU students can actively participate and benefit from this opportunity.


Dr. Mohamad Diab, Chairman of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department and an executive board member of Iraleb opened the session by discussing the program's goals for nurturing future innovators. Eng. Ziad Shammas Head of the Iraleb Executive Board and ALI board member presented project calls and guided participants on how to effectively engage with the program. Executive Director Fabienne Balaa shared insights into the program’s benefits, application process, and tips for success.


The event concluded with a lively Q&A session, where audience questions about the program's opportunities and impact were addressed. The LIRA program serves as an essential link between academia and industry, shaping the future of research and development in Lebanon.
