    RHU launches ground-breaking Wall Street Simulation Model to empower the next generation of traders

    RHU has unveiled the groundbreaking Wall Street Simulation Model (WSSM), an avant-garde initiative that bridges innovation and education to transform financial training. Launched in collaboration with Galliott Capital Advisors and Altitude Educational Management, this visionary program is set to take participants to the heart of New York’s financial district, Wall Street, offering an unparalleled learning experience that mirrors the high-stakes world of global markets.

     

     

     

    The launch event, held at RHU, featured a series of compelling addresses and discussions. event moderator Ms. Rafal Tabbaa, opened the ceremony, followed by RHU President Dr. Said Ladki, who celebrated the university’s ongoing transformation as it marks its 25th anniversary.

     

     

    Dr. Ladki announced the formation of the University Partnership Office (UPO) and RHU’s Board of International Advisors (BIA). He expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the university’s Board of Trustees, chaired by Mrs. Nazek Rafik Hariri, whose steadfast support paved the way for the creation of the BIA. Ladki stated, “Over the years, RHU has worked tirelessly to advance and develop its academic arm. Through the UPO, now, it is time to develop the outreach arm of the institution.”

     

     

     

    The launch of the WSSM is a testament to RHU’s commitment to innovation and collaboration with global stakeholders. Special recognition was given to RHU’s Administrative Board, faculty, staff, and students whose efforts made this milestone possible. Dr. Ladki concluded by emphasizing the collective pride in launching a program with the potential to redefine financial training and foster a new generation of informed traders and financial professionals.

     

     

     

    Dr. Elie Samia, Chairman of the RHU Board of International Advisors and CEO of Altitude, presented a comprehensive overview of the WSSM. He described it as a transformative 5-days program hosted on the iconic Wall Street in New York City, tailored for students, graduates, and alumni. Participants will gain hands-on experience through advanced trading simulations, exclusive tours of Wall Street, and insights into today’s financial markets. Dr. Samia underscored RHU’s unique role as the sole university partner from Lebanon, collaborating with prestigious global organizations such as Galliott Capital Advisors, Altitude, George Town International Relations Association (GIRA), VIE Strategic Consultant, and Entrepreneurs Organization. A short video accompanying his presentation further illustrated the program’s core values and transformative potential.

     

     

     

    A key highlight of the event was a thought-provoking panel discussion on the importance of cultivating a culture of informed financial trading. Panelists, including RHU Chair of the Financial Studies Department, Dr. Mohamad Tarabay, Professor of Finance, Dr. Elie Raad, and Dr. Elie Samia, emphasized the critical role of research-driven, strategic decision-making in financial markets. They also discussed how simulations like WSSM foster responsible trading practices that align with portfolio goals while upholding market integrity. The panel concluded with an engaging Q&A session, allowing attendees to interact directly with the experts and gain deeper insights.
