For the 160 freshman and sophomore students, the first day of the New Student Orientation Program was more than a guided tour of the beautiful RHU campus and an advice on course expectations. The program motivated the young scholars to succeed in college, inspired them to take full advantage of campus life, and expanded their horizons to gain on life.
Organized by RHU Student Affairs Office, the Fall 2016 Orientation Program will continue for one whole week until September 8, and will include club recruitment and athletic activities.
After welcoming the new students, Ms. Nidal Khalaf, Registrar, kept the students focused on important academic information related to courses registration, grading system and student- registrar relationship. She motivated them to achieve better and never lose focus on their academic goals.
Ms. Sahar Hallak, Student Affairs Associate, speaking on behalf of the Dean of Students, introduced the new students to the Student Affairs Office team. She also invited them to seek the support of the “I CARE” student mentors volunteering to assist them throughout the first week of classes.
At 12:30 all students moved to the library where representatives from all colleges, the student affairs office team, and the library staff, were available at their individual booths to serve the students and respond to their inquiries.
