The IEEERHU Student Branch, represented by Ahmad Sharara (Branch Chair), Asmaa Hindawi (Social Media Manager), Souad Al-Sabouh (Event Organizer), and Fouad Nafaah (Official Member), participated in the IEEE Lebanon General Assembly. The event was held on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Hamra. Dr. Maher Sabbah, associate professor at the Electrical and Computer Engineering Departmentand Society advisor also attended the assembly.
Apart from the IEEE Lebanon section, representatives of IEEE student branches from RHU and other universities also participated in this assembly. Ms. Souad Al-Sabouh spoke on behalf of the IEEE RHU Student Branch. She introduced the committee members and provided a briefing to the attendees on the events that were held during the 2022-2023 period by the IEEE RHU Student Branch. Moreover, she also shared the plans and activities that the student branch intends to carry out in 2023-2024.
