The RHU Investment Society at the College of Business Administration organized a seminar Trading and Investing 101 on March 5th, 2024, at the MEA Conference Hall. Mohammad Hammoudi, a senior finance student, stock researcher, and day trader, and Ahmad Arabi, a senior finance student, derivatives trader, stock analyst, and cryptocurrency investor, led the seminar.
During the seminar, the student speakers gave a comprehensive introduction to trading and investing in securities, stocks, and cryptocurrencies. They also explained various investment theories, strategies, and the different types of markets, their characteristics, and signals.
The speakers engaged with the audience, which comprised individuals from both financial and non-financial backgrounds, through interactive communication. They also elaborated on important events and scenarios in the world of financial trading.
This event is the first in a series of trading and investing seminars that you can join to explore a world of possibilities. As Warren Buffet once said, "I will tell you how to become rich. Close the doors. Be fearful when others are greedy. Be greedy when others are fearful." The seminar aimed to help individuals understand the world of trading and investing, which opens a plethora of opportunities.
