RHU senior mechanical engineering students Raed El Soussi, Mohammad Shaheen, Omar El Kasti, and Ali Kassem successfully developed a 3D printed prototype of a formula one F1 car, the first of its kind in Lebanon, as their final year project. RHU assistant professor of mechanical and mechatronics engineering, Dr. Iyad Fayssal, supervised their project.
The prototype will serve as an educational and research model for mechanical engineering undergraduates and researchers interested in aerodynamics and automotive engineering.
This achievement is proof that RHU is a hub for innovation. The support given by RHU faculty members to students helps foster leaders and innovators who can join the real world with greater confidence.
