    RHU signs MOU with Port of Beirut to provide career services and training opportunities

    The RHU Office of the President is thrilled to announce a groundbreaking partnership with the Port of Beirut, solidified by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in the presence of Mr. Omar Itani, President and Director General of the Port. This dynamic collaboration promises to unlock career opportunities for our students and provide essential training and placements in various departments of the port.

     

     

     

     

    Following the signing ceremony, an engaging seminar spotlighted the vast training opportunities at the Port of Beirut. The RHU President passionately emphasized the power of university-industry alliances and showcased how such partnerships offer invaluable real-world experiences while helping industries tap into innovative research and emerging talent. “Together, we can overcome challenges through clear communication and shared goals,” he said.

     

     

     

     

    Mr. Omar Itani then shared a powerful reflection on the resilience of the Port since the 2020 explosion, reaffirming its status as one of the top ten Mediterranean seaports. He unveiled exciting training programs that will give RHU students hands-on experience across various departments, from operations and logistics to IT and engineering.
