We are proud that the College of Engineering lab engineer and mechatronics engineering alumnus Mohamad Al Kaderi represented RHU in this year's NASA International Space Apps Challenge. The event took place on October 7th at NDU Louaize, where Mr. Kaderi was invited to join as a mentor for innovation, AI models, and technology. With his knowledge and experience, he was well-poised to provide invaluable guidance to the participants.
Mr. Kaderi's primary focus was to engage with every team, discuss their challenges, offer recommendations, provide support if needed, and add value to their projects. Moreover, he was entrusted with the responsibility of providing recommendations to the jury members concerning teams that demonstrated innovation or faced technological challenges.
The NASA International Space Apps Challenge is a hackathon that brings together talented individuals worldwide, including coders, scientists, designers, storytellers, makers, technologists, and innovators. Participants utilize open data from NASA and its Space Agency Partners to devise solutions for challenges faced on Earth and in space.
