On March 5, 2024, the IEEE RHU Student Branch, a student-led organization at Rafik Hariri University (RHU) College of Engineering, organized a successful fundraising event to support Gaza. The event was called "وزع بيتزا وطعمينا" and aimed to provide essential support and relief to individuals and families affected by challenges in Gaza, demonstrating solidarity and compassion from the RHU community.
The event was held on the RHU campus in Mechref, Lebanon, and was attended by enthusiastic participants from students, faculty, and community members. Attendees enjoyed delicious pizza slices and other Lebanese food while contributing to a noble cause. Donors received a special souvenir for Ramadan as a token of appreciation.
