RHU Student Representative Council 2024-2025: A Celebration of Democracy in Action!

The RHU Student Representative Council for 2024-2025 is now officially in session, marking the beginning of a new chapter in student leadership.

On February 18, RHU students exercised their right to vote in the SRC elections, which were held exclusively for the College of Business Administration and the College of Arts and Sciences, as the representatives for the College of Engineering were elected unopposed.

Polling stations opened from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the main theatre, allowing students to cast their votes and actively participate in shaping their student leadership. By 4:00 p.m., the Student Affairs Office announced the official SRC members for 2024-2025. Representing the College of Engineering are Ghazi Yaser Tafesh, Mohammad Jassem Abtan, and Nour Bashir El Hariri, while Omar Salam Tannir and Sara Bassem Chaar will serve as representatives for the College of Business Administration. The College of Arts and Sciences will be represented by Bilal Rabih Al Atrach and Sara Sami Bou Ali.

With impressive 74.18% voter turnout for the College of Business Administration and 62.35% for the College of Arts and Sciences, this election reflects the strong commitment of RHU students to leadership, teamwork, and democracy.

Ms. Sahar Hallak, Assistant Director of Student Affairs, thanked students, faculty, and staff for their support.

Congratulations to our new SRC members! Wishing you a successful and impactful term ahead.
