RHU is extremely proud of its talented computer science students, Mr. Khalil Al Masri and Mr. Mustafa Jomaa, who have been shortlisted for the prestigious LIRA Program 2025 for developing an innovative blockchain-based healthcare solution under the supervision of Dr. Ghalia Nasreddine. Their project, endorsed by RHU’s Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences Dr. Houssam Salami, addresses Lebanon’s fragmented medical data system by enabling secure, real-time sharing of patient records while empowering patients with control over their data.
As part of the program, Khalil and Mustafa participated in the Capacity Building Phase, gaining key skills in innovation management, and will pitch their project to a jury on April 14, with hopes of advancing to the final acceleration phase.
