Amidst the recent catastrophic events happening in Palestine, the RHU Community Service Club organized the "Heart of Mercy" event on Tuesday, October 10, 2023. The main objective of this event was to show unwavering commitment to advocate the rights of the Palestinian people and inspire others to take action. Additionally, the event raised funds to donate to "هيئة نصرة الأقصى في لبنان" and help Palestinians during these difficult times.
The event also served to educate the campus community about the crisis in Palestine. Members of the Community Service Club took part in managing the logistics and ensuring a smooth event flow.
During the event, RHU community members gathered outside the cafeteria and actively advocated for the rights of Palestinians. The event served its purpose by raising a considerable amount of funds and garnering support for the cause, as Gandhi once said, "The future depends on what we do in the present."
