RHU welcomed 9 full-time faculty to its different colleges and programs for Fall 2022. Their positive enthusiasm will sure build upon the tremendous successes of RHU faculty, staff, and students over the past years. RHU President Dr. Makram Suidan greeted them during a welcome reception at his office on Wednesday August 24, 2022, then during a breakfast for all faculty and staff members on September 8.
RHU full-time faculty for the College of Engineering - Civil and Environmental Engineering Department, are Dr. Mehedeen Mashaka, associate professor and chairperson, and Dr. Rana Al Hajj Chehade, assistant professor.
RHU College of Business Administration welcomed assistant professor of Financial Studies, Dr. Zeinab Srour, and lecturer of Management Studies, Ms. Loubna Saleh.
The College of Arts and Sciences had its largest share, receiving five new full-time faculty this semester. Two faculty members, assistant professor Dr. Ali Rammal and lecturer Ms. Roaa Soloh, joined the Computer and Information Systems Department, two lecturers, Ms. Leen Srouji and Ms. Dina Baba, joined the Languages and Liberal Arts Department, and one lecturer, Ms. Noura Sammoura, joined the Design Department.
While these are challenging times for all institutions of higher education in Lebanon, RHU will continue to be defined by the quality of its professors and the strong connection they build with their students. This connection brings energy, ideas, perspectives, and partnerships to students, the community, and the university, at large.
