RHU had the pleasure of hosting the Beirut Marathon Association for an inspiring roadshow held at the MEA Conference Hall. The session introduced students to the rich legacy of the Beirut Marathon and the powerful story of its founder, Ms. May El Khalil, whose resilience transformed a personal challenge into one of Lebanon’s most unifying national events. The event also encouraged students to take part in the upcoming Beirut Marathon, scheduled for May 1, 2025, whether by running or supporting the cause.

The Beirut Marathon team shared their mission to promote peace, unity, and wellness through running, encouraging RHU students to get involved, either by running or volunteering.

This event served as a powerful reminder of the impact that youth can have in community initiatives and national movements. The Student Affairs Office extends its sincere thanks to the Beirut Marathon Association for the engaging session and looks forward to seeing RHU students at this year’s marathon!
