RHU College of Arts offered a seminar on Stress Management hosting Psychologist Ghida Houseini on Tuesday, February 7 at RHU campus. A significant number of faculty, staff and students attended the seminar to understand how to better cope with the daily stress. While stress is neither good nor bad, learning how to manage it can help us better control our lives.
Many points were discussed during the lecture: Ms. Houseini explained that everyone should try to avoid stress by identifying sources of stress and practice breathing exercises. Stress is not good or bad, it can be motivating. The effect of stress is determined by your reaction to it, so learning to manage it is a necessity. Stress Management is to take charge of your thoughts, feelings, way of living and dealing with problems. Eventually, there are always ways to relieve personal anxiety.
