    The IEEE RHU Student Branch brings the success stories of two achieved RHU alumni!

    The IEEE RHU Student Branch organized a seminar "Computer and Communications Engineering: A Bright Future Ahead!" hosted the RHU alumni, Mr. Mustapha GH, Operations Manager and Deputy General Manager of Setraa Advanced Technology, KSA, and Ms. Asmaa Abdallah, Ph.D. Student, Research and Teaching Assistant at the American University of Beirut.

     

    The seminar was held on Wednesday, March 14, from 11:00 a.m. till 12:30 p.m. in the MEA Conference Hall and was attended by RHU engineering students from all majors, RHU faculty and staff members.

     

    RHU Alumni continue to Inspire, Instigate, and Innovate.

     

    Mr. Mostafa Ghaddar, who graduated from RHU with a Master of Science degree in Computer and Communications Engineering (CCE), is currently the Operations Manager and Deputy General Manager of Setraa Advanced Technology at KSA.

     

    Mr. Ghaddar delivered an interesting talk where he showed how graduates of the CCE program would be able to work in so many job types including Communications, Networking, Computer, Software, Biomedical, and Construction. Mostafa listed also the local, regional and worldwide companies in which our graduates can work or are working currently. He prompted students to think about CCE as a major that is applicable to so many areas in real life and the future is for Engineers who are good in communication and computers.

     

    Ms. Asmaa Abdallah, who graduated from RHU with a Master of Science degree in Computer and Communications Engineering (CCE), is currently pursuing her PhD degree at the American University of Beirut AUB.

     

    Ms. Abdallah focused on the importance of the research field in the Computer and Communications Engineering domain and shared with the students her successful experience in participating in many valued international conferences, where she presented her PhD research. Moreover, Ms. Abdallah shared her exciting experience as being one of the active committee members in IEEE Young Professionals Lebanon. A small reception followed the event.
