The IEEE RHU Student Branch organized an Introduction to Solar Energy workshop on Thursday, April 13, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the RHU MEA Conference Hall.

RHU electrical engineering student Mahmoud Barbir delivered the workshop covering the basics of solar energy, definitions, and explanation about solar panels, batteries, and inverters. He also briefed the participants on the techniques of building solar energy systems and their types.

At the end of the workshop, Mr. Barbir announced the IEEE RHU Student Chapter's plan for a 4-5 session practical workshop for designing and implementing solar energy systems during the upcoming summer semester.
