The BioTech Society, Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society (EMBS) RHU Student Chapter, named its new board of members, whose tenure period begins on Thursday, September 9, 2021.
The members are Tala Arbid as President, Malek Wehbi as Vice President, and Sarah Mashmoushi as Treasurer.
The Society plans to organize technical workshops to supplement hands-on experience for both biomedical engineering students and do-it-yourself enthusiasts, field visits to healthcare facilities, and seminars on niche topics.
In addition, the affiliation with the First Aid Club, formalized two years ago, will promote campus-wide health awareness campaigns using biomedical instrumentation.
