Program Overview
If you want to be financially literate and able to play a key role in business decision making, then Accounting & Finance is the right career choice for you. Accounting is about the measurement, analysis and communication of financial information pertinent to the economic health of business entities. Accountants devise and use financial information systems to enable investors, creditors, managers and regulators to make sound decisions.
There are two main tracks in accounting and Finance: financial Accounting and Management Accounting. If the purpose is to provide information to investors and creditors for their resource allocation decision making, we are talking about financial accounting. But if the purpose is to provide information to managers to plan, evaluate performance and make decisions, we are talking about management accounting.
